Star Trek
Mmmm...tasty goodness. I really enjoyed it. I won't spoil anyone. The visuals were stunning, it felt like space. Simon Pegg was freaking great as Scotty, every time he was on screen I had a smile on my face. And the new Enterprise, she's a beautiful ship, even the new and retro engineering decks. Aaron |

School News
While I don't have a graduate degree yet, my experience allows me certain neat things to happen. Like teaching university classes when the professor needs someone to take over. So all this week I get to teach GEO 203, Intro to Meteorology. Should be fun! Aaron |

Shadowrun
Just got done writing my first Missions style-Shadowrun adventure...whew. I really enjoyed writing it to be honest. I'm not sure if it'll go over well, but I'll see. Its kinda dark and moody, but its set in London, so I guess it works. I'll be running it on the 20th at 21st Century. I may post it here if people are interested. Aaron |

Back again
Ok, this time it looks like I'm back in Lansing for a while. I just got back from New Orleans for a second time. Darlenes step-father did pass away on New Years Day, and we had to go down to be with family and attend the funeral. I seriously will try and get some pictures uploaded soon. Aaron |

New Orleans
Well, I spent a week down in New Orleans, just got back on Saturday night. I can't say the entire trip was a great one. Darlene's Step-father, the one who basically raised her, is dying from multiple types of cancer. He's really rough right now and we went down there to see him and help out with taking care of him for a week. I say the trip wasn't a great one because seeing someone in so much pain is never good. He knows where he stands with the cancer and he is being incredibly brave. I have a lot of respect for the man. I hope to have a couple pictures up in the next couple days after I get my lazy ass around to actually downloading the photos. Aaron |
